Porsche Taycan
At first glance, Porsche's range of electric models with the Taycan and Macan seems manageable. But if you delve deeper into the price lists and brochures, you will be surprised to discover that there are countless performance levels and body shapes for the two models. There is a suitable variant for everyone.
If Porsche has mastered anything, it is to exhaust one model series. The Stuttgart-based company has been proving this for over 60 years with the now legendary 911, which is available in countless versions. And they are continuing this strategy with the facelift of their first all-electric model, the Taycan. Porsche's first electric car founded an entire model family with various drive variants such as one or two motors for rear- or all-wheel drive and various battery sizes. And if that weren't enough, the Taycan is also available in three body styles: Coupé, Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo.
In the design of the Taycan, Porsche transports the look of the legendary 911 into the future and was inspired by the in-house Panamera for the Sport Turismo and Cross Turismo estate versions. Both are the same length, but slightly higher than the four-door and offer more storage space with 446 to 1,212 liters, including the folding rear seat. What both Taycan and Macan models have in common is the 800-volt charging architecture, with which all versions currently offer what is probably the best fast-charging capabilities up to a maximum of 270 kilowatts. The Taycan's Performance Battery Plus even increases this output to 320 kilowatts.

Porsche Macan Electric
In order to expand the range of pure electric vehicles, the combustion engine Macan is now also being converted into an electric model and is only available as a pure electric vehicle with the latest model. The Macan is visually the smaller brother of the Cayenne and looks confusingly similar to it, except for the shorter and slightly narrower body. The step to a pure electric drive makes sense for the smaller SUV, which can benefit from additional range and increased efficiency due to the lower weight.
